Rising Female Country Artists
We are proud to present two rising female country artists on stage at the Expo!
A proud native of Emory Texas, currently living in Grand Saline Tx, Billie Jo is a 29 year old singer, songwriter and recording artist blending traditional country vocals with honest songs. Billie Jo has opened for Ray Price, Gene Watson, The Oakridge Boys, Jeannie C Riley, Rich O’Toole, Justin Moore, Wade Bowen, Sam Riggs, Stoney LaRue, Pat Green, Jason Boland, Jerrod Niemann, Sam riggs, Roger Creager, Walt Wilkins, Chris Colston, Cody Hibbard and many more.Billie Jo released her first single back in October of 2018 called “Favorite Place To Be”. That song was up for song of the year with the Texas Country Music Awards 2019 and she was also nominated for Female Vocalist Of The Year.
Recently Billie Jo just released a brand new single “Simpler Way Of Life” promoted by Jerry Lembo Entertainment that has made Top 100 on The Texas Country Charts.
Bailey Rae is an eighteen-year-old singer/songwriter from the small town of Roberta, Oklahoma. She has shared her love for country music on stages all over Oklahoma, Texas and Arkansas and on to Brandon, Nashville, Pigeon Forge and Elvis’ Graceland. Currently, Bailey Rae is performing on the biggest stage of her life as a member of Team Legend on The Voice Season 19.
Her debut single, “Never Been This Lonely,” was released in January 2020 and spent several weeks on the chart of Texas Country Music Radio. Written by Charlie Shearer, “Never Been This Lonely” was nominated for a Texas Country Music Association 2020 Songwriter of the Year award and a 2020 Contemporary Country Song of the Year award through the Josie Music Awards. Her second single, “I’m In Love,” co-written by Charlie Shearer and Bailey Rae released in June of 2020. Bailey Rae’s music is available on all streaming platforms.
As an avid vinyl collector, Bailey Rae has over a hundred albums from artists such as Dolly Parton, Ernest Tubbs, Merle Haggard and Emmylou Harris. Those albums once belonging to her Great-Great Granny Grunt discovered at a yard sale by her grandmother years ago are, by far her favorites. Even though she and Granny Grunt never met, Bailey Rae feels connected to her through music. And that is the connection she hopes to pass on to her audience each time she performs on stage.
