Samantha Basirico is a lifestyle host at KKTV 11 News. Samantha is originally from Michigan and got her Broadcast Journalism Degree from Michigan State University. Samantha's first stop in TV news was in Casper, Wyoming as a Sports Reporter. After two years, she moved closer to home to Duluth, Minnesota to be a Weekend Sports Anchor and Reporter. After 2 months of being in Duluth, Samantha was promoted to be the Weekday Morning Anchor and Noon Anchor. Samantha is very happy to be in Colorado Springs and excited to share stories of local people and connect with the community.
Nanette Brédé Mueller is a difference-maker. Following her successful retirement after 29 years with the U.S. Army as a strategic planner and program manager, Nanette continues as a servant leader volunteering thousands of hours to the veteran community. Seeing a need to empower the veteran-community to better transition from uniform to civilian success, she established Prep Connect 360 and impacted the quality of life for thousands of veterans, working military spouses, and family members. Nanette is an award-winning volunteer, to include being selected as the 2020 El Paso County, Colorado Veteran of the Year, and a Distinguished Partner and Community Ambassador with Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center advocating for Front Range military-affiliated constituents.
Tracie Dominguez is the owner and operator of HomeWell of Colorado Springs providing trained caregivers and nurses’ aides, for specialty home care to veterans, and seniors. Tracie served a combat tour in Kandahar Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom in 2011and in 2016 retired honorably as a Major. Tracie and her family settled back to Colorado Springs where she led a team of providers as for a mobile urgent care for 3 years. She provided on-site urgent emergency care to vulnerable, disabled, and homebound patients from Denver to Colorado Springs. In 2020, she wanted to fill a need and make an impact on her community. Tracie’s vision is to not only have seniors age in place but thrive at home.
Andrea Donegan is embarking on her 18th year in Operations Management and is currently the Assistant General Manager of the largest, most technologically advanced Amazon Robotics Fulfillment Centers across the globe. Prior to her work at Amazon, she spent 14 years at Enterprise Holdings as a Customer Service and Sales Area Director and Talent Development/Talent Acquisition Manager. Andrea enjoys giving back to the community and working with underrepresented youth. Andrea has a strong passion for developing future leaders and strongly feels that by working together, we can create more opportunities for growth.
Dr. Tiffani Huckels, Pharm.D, /Herbalist, Mayo Clinic Certified Health and Wellness Coach and Hormone Specialist. Tiffani is a passionate, innovative and solution focused clinical Pharmacist. Although trained as a pharmacist after leading a supplement and medication safety initiative Tiffani developed an expertise about whole body systems and an integrative and collaborative approach to managing chronic disease. Tiffani is an ardent champion for lifestyle interventions, environmental changes and genetic evaluations which often help patients much more than any medications.
Monica Weiss is the Co-Founder of THEO’S, a mealtime made easier company. Born in Ecuador and raised in Boston Monica was a stay-at-home mom and in 2021 began her venture into entrepreneurship here in Colorado. Her ambition to use her experience as a mom of three to develop and promote affordable and eco-friendly products that make feeding a baby less stressful-so parents can spend more time being present. Splat Mats were launched 12 months ago as the first compostable one-time use splat mat and have become a top seller on Amazon. THEO’s will be introducing their new products at the Women’s Expo.
