Ladies, it’s time to showcase your baking skills at the Cake Party Contest, a It’s a deliciously fun event! So bring your best cake creations for the opportunity to win the $200 Grand Prize, $100 for 2nd place and $50 for third place.

Contest Rules

Contest begins at 9:00am on August 15,2026 and ends at 10:59 am. on Auust 15, 2026.
1. Eligibility: This Contest is open to residents of Central Arkansas who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry.
2. How To Enter: Complete the Cake Contest Registration Form and return via email to bdonnell@womenslivingexpo.com and you will be emailed a confirmation number.
3. Cake Requirements:
     • Cakes must be 100% homemade and entirely edible including decorations. Recipe to accompany cake.
     • Cakes should be a minimum of 8 inches in diameter and 3 inches tall.
     • Cakes should be displayed on cake boards or sturdy cardboard base.

4. Judging: All entries must meet the Contest requirements. Our panel of judge’s comprised of Chef Kelly Marks, Chef Kimberlie Jeffers and Chef Claire Haley will judge the entries and select three winners based on the following criteria:
     • Taste – 50%
     • Texture – 25%
     • Originality & Creativity – 15%;
     • Appearance – 10%

5. Winners and Prizes: Three winners will be awarded prizes as follows: one Grand Prize winner will be awarded $200; one Second Prize winner will be awarded $100 and one Third Prize winner will be awarded $50.
6. Selection of Winners: The winners will be announced on August15th at 12pm. and prizes awarded by our judges.
